Why Mira Sky Gaia
Much of what I have learned is in direct causality to listening to this inner voice that is our best friend and guiding light. The origin of this name is no exception.
For one, I have had a deep reverence and connection to Mother Earth and her glorious nature my whole life. But, my connection with her Spirit was amplified exponentially and unexpectedly while in Sedona in December of 2016 after 4 full days of breath, body, chakra alignment, meditation, yoga workshop.
As we were in our closing ceremony thanking Mother Earth during sun salutations with our eyes closed, she whispered gently yet so powerfully “Mira I need you {to help fulfill the overall plan of planetary ascension}. I didn’t hear a voice out loud in the sky. Rather, it was a clear message and impression deep within my soul. These unforgettable moments were filled with visuals -vibrant swirling connective colors and patterns as if I were travelling through the fabric of the universe with the roots here on Earth.
An overwhelming knowing it was Her soul speaking- so palpable, so pure! Words can never paint a picture of the experience. My body felt consumed by her enormous love as I began to weep uncontrollably. I was really important? And these nudges I have been feeling were not just in my mind? Her energy was sincere, compassionate, nurturing, transparent, steady, kind, supportive.
As much as I have deeply revered her beauty all of my life, I never thought “Gaia” would speak to me. I had only realized that our planet is a living sentient being a few years earlier. I certainly never could have imagined that she would urge “me” to live my purpose to help her better live hers.
This unforgettable channeling occurred while I was still working full-time for my brother’s whiskey company as the sales ambassador covering many regions of the entire East Coast, knowing that I had a much higher calling, and just at the precipice of beginning the writing process, as I felt guided by Spirit to write a book a few months earlier. I felt the internal call, but I lived a highly distracting life. It was hard for me to balance my work responsibilities with my spiritual life. I was on a seesaw and needed some reinforcement on the handlebars. She gave it to me, in an UNFORGETTABLE and PALPABLE transmission.
My most recent communication with Gaia was on October 7th, while in Ruidoso, New Mexico. After 10 days connecting with the elements in this remote mountainous area, meditating, observing nature the veil was again thin enough for communication. This time, I started the conversation after and asked what tips she had for me. She advised to “seek the sun” (the sun actually activates our DNA), “be careful about what steps I make in my career and to make sure they all line up with the overall soul purpose”, not to get lost in ego, and create a daily routine of breath work and yoga.
I chose “Sky” because of its boundless-ness, expansiveness, and its symbolism to the of our connection our galaxy and even beyond with the stars that fill the sky. We are not alone and isolated, yet we have the support of our star family and friends who are rooting for us along our paths, in bringing, anchoring, securing more light onto our beloved planet.
Lastly, “Mira” is my birth name, meaning to look, wonder, goodness, peace, sea, light, prosperous in various languages around the world. All of which I feel are in alignment with my mission and essence.
