Freeing Cetaceans and Supporting their Unencumbered Habitat ~ Why It’s So Important

This past February my mom bought a book for me while we were visiting the sacred  Mount Shasta in Northern California. It was called “The Call Goes Out from the Cetacean Nation” filled with the personal stories of Cetacean’s  (whales, dolphins, porpoises) cruel, heart-wrenching captures, their lives in prison, and why it is so necessary to free them.

This book opens with this quote: “There is a tremendous unfolding of light, awareness, and energy where the sea meets the land, and the human mind and the cetacean mind meet in the heart place.”

The author Diane Robbins shares a largely unknown and profound point suggesting the plight of the Cetaceans  is directly connected to the consciousness of humanity. As we imprison a whale, a dolphin or any sentient being, we too imprison ourselves. I could definitely understand this point as WE ARE ALL CONNECTED in the MATRIX of life!

All life on Earth and elsewhere have the same never-ending purpose to evolve to the next level of consciousness with freedom being the necessary medium. The cetaceans are at the forefront of this movement to support humanity in our mutual endeavor.

Lola has been confined for 40 years in Miami
Poor Lolita has been captive for over 40 years in the Maimi Seaquarium and desperately needs to return to her family and the open sea

Why I feel called to write about this aquatic wonders:

Back in  August of 2015 while sailing through the Cyclades hopping between the Greek islands standing at the very tip of the boat with each foot on either side of the helm,  I felt inspired to meditate setting the intention for guidance on how best to live a life of contribution in my own way. (I always have felt a particularly strong pull toward clean water and preservation of marine life in my heart even as a child during long winters in Pennsylvania simply falling into imaginary worlds by staring at a picture of a crystal clear sea on the cover of a Travel Magazine.)

During those precise moments in a meditative trance gazing down at  the water piercing gently through the calm vacant sea, two huge dolphins emerged like angels just under my feet, swimming at the exact speed of the boat and staying directly under me. My heart leapt with an indescribably joy, consumed by their vibrantly loving, wise, playful, intuitive energy. Like many others, I was always fascinated by dolphins, but never had the chance to experience them. This was something unprecedented even to what I could conceive in my imagination.

These sentient masterpieces of the sea greeting me in such exuberance – waving, flapping their fins,  flipping, twirling around in joy!  It was utterly out of this world and  without a doubt I felt,  especially in hindsight,  they were purposefully communicating with me – almost as if they heard my thoughts and came up to greet me, knowing precisely where I stood! Mind-blowing, truly mind-blowing!

I know in my soul through their unforgettable timely demonstration  of connection that they were encouraging me from the depths of their souls to follow through with the stirrings of my own to help the planet and sea life.  I have not accomplished anything even remotely close to living up to this goal. But, that is why I am writing this blog and although the journey many be long. I haven’t forgotten their message.

They accompanied me for perhaps 45 seconds which felt like a mini eternity until I motioned to the few others sitting in the back of the boat (to come see these amazing telepathic creatures). As soon as the others neared, they disappeared back into the deep, further confirming their intent was specifically to let me know they heard me, that they too felt this desire and that was their sole (and soul) purpose for appearing.  (This picture was taken afterwards that day.)

I tell this short blissful story because it proved to me, without a doubt, that Cetaceans are highly conscious beings and they are working in conjunction with humanity to bring more light, love, understanding, to create a more harmony and respect to Life on our beautiful planet.

Our own quarantine makes their freedom all the more compelling to take action

As I write this article,  80% of the world human population is in urged to stay at home or even forced to stay at home. We are finally experiencing for ourselves, how it feels to be trapped, except we can hardly call ourselves trapped in relation to them!!! The entrapment of wildlife is horrifically more confining by comparison – considering their size and need to migrate hundreds, if not thousands of miles annually. A caged whale, dolphin, lion, panda bear is equivalent to us living our lives in a bathtub or small shoe closet.

My deepest hope is that this moment in our global history will bring us new compassion, new insights so that we can change our ways. We have more power to create a larger movement because now we can relate on some level. Let’s use this momentum and realization to create a safe and liberating environment for all life!!!

Furthermore, we need to pay attention to their freedom for reasons beyond their imprisonment. What makes their confining situation dramatically more terrifying is that they also are not able to connect to the grid of Mother Earth in an aquarium (or zoo yet focus of this article is whales and dolphins), the way they do in nature. It is very difficult for them to feel the pulse of the planet, their communications with Mother Earth are deafened out of their natural environment.

And this communication is necessary both ways! Their (and our) communication with Her helps her function optimally!

I don’t know about you, but whenever I have little access to nature, I feel like a whale without sonar myself!!!!

All wildlife depends on clear communication with Earth for navigation and other biological rituals to sustain life. The more off balance Mother Earth is due to human abuse, the more off balance all life is!

Leave Uranium and other Rare Earth Elements in the Ground

Just as we have different organs comprising important individual tasks in our body, so does our planet. The minerals of her body help her stay healthy just as the essential minerals in our body keep us healthy.

As mining continues and/or ramps up, She loses her homeostasis. Uranium is the mineral of her brain (according to the author’s channeling of Lolita and other whales and I feel it’s true as well). Uranium is also, not surprisingly, used for the creation of military weapons and the fuel for nuclear reactors (both destructive and dangerous to a peaceful healthy planet and never meant to be picked from her brain). Uranium is radioactive, pollutes the ground water and contaminates drinking water causing kidney disease and/or bone and lung cancer. For more on the devastating affects or uranium mining check out this article and this article. When will the madness cease?

According to the aforementioned book in a message telepathically received from Lolita the orca whale in captivity for over 40 years:

“As humans mine these minerals in ever increasing amounts, Mother Earth’s body is being depleted and she is losing her ability to track and monitor populations centers, and she is losing her control over her body. She desperately needs our ( the cetaceans) information and guidance at this time – ………… to send her the vital information she needs to stabilize and balance herself without harming areas where there are large centers of population.”

When will we understand that Mother Earth is a living sentient being with her own biological needs?? Without hers served, ours aren’t either as her health directly impacts ours without exception!

Dangerous Navy Sonar
Maritime sonar detection devices that track submarines and other underwater objects are disorientating, frightening, and devastating to the migration, biological, and even psychological functions of cetaceans and other sea life.  The sonar’s loud noise scares the whales, causing them to surface rapidly, giving them a gas bubble that produced lesions in organs, including the liver. More in this article and this one

I’ll never forget the increased bandwidth of alarming noise I heard as a human (with limited ability to hear in comparison)  scuba diving off a remote coast in Colombia’s “Parque Tayrona”. It sounded as if a huge motor was directly above my head and I was about 15 meters deep.  I surfaced looking around in every direction, but nothing was in sight, not even a trace. Imagine how these sound affects them?

Lastly, in some esoteric spiritual beliefs, whales, in particular, store the memories and history of humanity in their incredibly large brains. According to this mysterious legend, whales can transfer these memories to humanity telepathically which can help us speed up our evolution. Of course I have no idea if this is true or not, but I found it intriguing.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

We can start talking about freeing the cetaceans and their plight with our friends and family. Remember out awareness and intentions have power. We can our governments to reduce or eliminate sonar and rare earth element mining through political activism. We can financially support environmental  agencies  that are fighting hard for their protection and ability to live unencumbered. We can learn more through self-education!!

Let’s not waste our lives in pursuits that give little lasting reward and turn our attention to plights of our world that desperately need addressing for all of our WELL BEING AND PROGRESSION now and in our future generations.
